Good morning, friends!!  As we speak, my daughter is playing quietly in the den, I have a warm cup of coffee in hand, and I just put a load of laundry in the washing machine.  If you could have been a fly on my wall the past couple of weeks, you would understand that this is a hugely successful morning!! :)  It has been a bit hectic around here lately, but I'm so excited to finally have some time to write.

I'm officially full-term this week, and we're so very anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little boy.  He's such an active little fella, and I can't wait to see his face and hold him in my arms.  We've been busy bees around here trying to finish the nursery and all of those pesky last-minute projects around the house, but I've definitely been taking time to savor the special moments with my baby girl.  I can't believe she will soon give up her role as the only child, and I'm so excited to see her interact with her new sibling.

My sweet Kate had a big week, too…Not only did she start "school", she also took her first big tumble and busted her little nose right open.  These two things have both been so hard on my mama heart, but I know it's a part of life that I need to get used to.  Thankfully, she's healing nicely, and she's almost back to her normal, sweet, active self.
