{Grilled Romaine}

I wanted to pop this post up real quick to share this side dish recipe with you because it was so easy and super delicious.

We were planning on having salads for dinner last night, but when prep time rolled around, I just wasn't feeling that. Since I didn't have to use my romaine lettuce for a salad, I knew I had to think of another way to use it so it wouldn't get tossed. I had marinated some pork chops to cook on the grill pan, and I decided I'd pop my romaine lettuce on there too. Deeeelicious!!!
** Pardon my messy stovetop!!

Here's what you do:

Heat grill or grill pan to medium heat. Cut romaine lettuce in half, lengthwise. Brush with EVOO. Cook on grill or grill pan for about 6 minutes, turning a few times. Once lettuce is charred and wilted to your preference (we like ours pretty soft), remove from heat, season with salt and pepper, and add some Parmesan cheese too if you'd like. :) Enjoy!!

xoxo,
Katherine
